Youth Ocean Academy 2025 report

The St.Vincent and the Grenadines Environment fund (SVGEF) is  excited to highlight the Youth Ocean Academy (YOA), a six-month experiential ocean literacy program that inspired and equipped Vincentians between the ages of 8-18 years old to become the next generation of Ocean Guardians. Through hands-on activities, mentorship from local experts, and real-world conservation experiences, participants explored the challenges and opportunities facing our marine environment while building a deep sense of ocean stewardship. This program reflects our ongoing commitment to empowering youth and fostering a sustainable future for our nation’s coastal and marine ecosystems.
