We support sustainable livelihoods that protect biodiversity while strengthening local communities, particularly in coastal and rural areas which share habitats with the species we protect.

Our efforts often focus on individuals who have significant experience in observing or interacting with species.Highlighting these efforts, our sea turtle monitoring project has become a key initiative, providing opportunities for trained beach monitors who help safeguard sea turtles during the nesting season.

As we build local capacity in these communities and we protect sea turtles among the coastlines, our monitors are leading the way in setting a shining example for local stewardship in conservation.
